Standard Spin: Gilbert Brule joins the Phoenix Coyotes after being claimed on re-entry waivers.  The former Oiler has spent the season  in the AHL with Oklahoma City, scoring 18 points in 27 games.  Brule is a former first rounder - 6th overall in 2005 - whose career has never really got on track.  It's not a bad move for the Coyotes.  Brule has talent buried deep in his DNA, and he's a free agent at the end of the year, so the financial committment is minimal.  Maybe a fresh start will help... just don't bet on it.  (Jan.10)
