On Cue: Versteeg Scores 2

Standard Spin: We've pretty much been bashing Kris Versteeg these past couple of weeks due to his recent slump, but apparently he's had enough of our insults because he was the star of the show on Saturday in the Panthers' win in Winnipeg.  Versteeg scored twice, added a helper, and then scored in the shoot-out, for a solid night on the fantasy scoresheet.  However, Fleischmann and Weiss continued their disappearing act; the Panthers have switched up their lines with the return of Goc and Samuelsson and the team's scoring chemistry has taken a hit because of it.

Of note: Antropov scored twice, and Kyle Wellwood had a very good game with 2 assists and a shoot-out goal.  Wellwood is one of those players who is probably sitting at the top of your free agent wire. (Jan.22)
