The Downfall of Alex the Great's Scoring Empire?

Standard Spin: Alexander "The Great" Ovechkin's scoring prowess is definitely on a downward trend, but is this a blip or a future reality?  With only 7 goals and 14 points in 17 games, Ovechkin is on pace to record only 68 points and 33 goals this season.  Although nothing to sneeze at in the NHL, for fantasy owners this represents another decline, as opposed to a rebound for Ovechkin.  If this trend continues, Ovechkin's point totals will decrease for the second straight year; 17 less points this season will represent a 41 point drop since 2009-10.  How long can fantasy owners pretend that they don't hear the alarm bells?
