Enforcer Update: Bollig at it Again

(4/2/12) We've been touting Brandon Bollig as a top enforcer pickup for weeks, and he continues to tear through the NHL's heavyweight division.  Last night he took on Clayton Stoner, as Bollig earned his eighth fight in 16 starts since being called up at the end of February.  We'll score this one a draw...

To put things in perspective, the league's top fighters, Brandon Prust and Shawn Thornton, sit at 19 fights over an entire season.  Rounding out the top five we have Konopka (18), Jared Boll (17), Derek Dorsett (16) and Cody McLeod (16).  Bollig is half way there in less than a quarter of the games, and we'll definitely be seeing him near the top of the rankings going into 2012-13.  The only thing that might hold him back is that he'll have a tough time keeping a regular spot in the lineup.  For now though, grab him if you need a goon in the final week for a last minute injection of PIMs.
