Standard Spin: Ilya Kovalchuk is known for scoring goals, but for throwing down?  Saturday he recorded the Gordie Howe hat-trick.  Now, before we get carried away, he manhandled rookie Brayden Schenn for the fight portion of this trifecta, which isn't saying a whole lot.  This performance will go down as an oddity in Kovalchuk's career.
