Evander Kane Out with Concussion

Standard Spin: Jets' forward Evander Kane is the latest NHLer to be bit by the concussion bug and is questionable to travel with the team on its upcoming road trip.

Head coach Claude Noel spoke about Kane's injury Saturday, telling the Winnipeg Free Press, "I have no idea which game.  I have no idea when all this took place... I'm not so sure he (Kane) completely knows."

Apparently Kane began complaining of headaches on Friday and was diagnosed with a concussion after doctors ruled out other possibilities.  The good news is that the injury wasn't the result of a single devastating collision, so it sounds like the concussion is of the "minor" variety (if there is such a thing).

For now, all fantasy owners can do is bench Kane and wait for an update.  Obviously there is no timetable, but expect him to miss the next couple of games at least... (Jan.21)
