Grabovski Has Another Big Night

Standard Spin: The Leafs blew a three goal lead in the thrid period and lost 5-4 in a shootout to the Penguins Tuesday, but Mikhail Grabovksi kept his hot streak going, lighting the lamp twice and adding a helper for the three point night.  He has nine points in his last five games, and his recent play has him deserving a spot in all starting lineups.  Tyler Bozak and Clarke MacArthur had the other Leafs' goals.

For the Pens, in spite of the five goals they scored Steve Sullivan was the only player to record more than one point.  He notched a goal and an assist, his fifth point in his last eight games, and while that's not a blistering pace by any standard, something tells us he's due for a bump in production post-break.  Evgeni Malkin was also a factor as usual, as he had the tying goal bounce off him and in with seven seconds left and then scored the deciding goal in the shootout.  (2/1/12)
