Mason Raymond on the Block?

Standard Spin: With the All-star break here and no games to discuss, the media inevitably turns to the next best thing to pass the time... trade speculation.

One name coming out of Vancouver Thursday as a possible candidate for a move is Mason Raymond.  The Canucks may be looking to add some grit up front for the stretch run, and Raymond looks like Vancouver's best bargaining chip.  A new home could actually help his fantasy value, even though he'd be leaving an offensive juggernaut, because Raymond would likely see top-six minutes on another team.  He has 12 points in 24 games this season playing on Vancouver's third line - he missed the first two months recovering from fractured vertabrae suffered in last year's Cup run - but a change of scenery could make him fantasy relevant again.  Watch to see if a move materializes and, if it does, consider grabbing Raymond for your bench depending on the new situation.  (Jan.26)
