Clemmensen Could Start

(4/8/12) There is considerable debate swirling around playoff pool draft tables at this very moment.  Well, maybe we should turn down the tone just a tad, as the names under question play for the Florida Panthers.

Saturday, Scott Clemmensen started in favor of Jose Theodore and backstopped the Swamp Cats to a win in the final game of the season - a win that also locked down the South East Division crown.  The two netminders have both had decent seasons, but Clemmensen has been better over the final games going 3-0-1, while Theodore is 0-2-3.  Suddenly there are some questions surrounding who will start for the Panthers in Game 1 against the Devils.

However, this whole discussion begs the bigger question: do the Panthers have the goaltending needed to go deep?  We would avoid the Florida goalies altogether on draft night.
