Standard Spin: Two goalies heading different directions squared off Monday, as Jimmy Howard got the better of Ryan Miller, earning a 5-0 shutout win and turning aside 27 shots as the Wings downed the Sabres.  

Howard has been exceptionally productive for his fantasy owners of late - the performance gives him a league-leading 27 wins and moves him into a tie for 2nd with 5 shutouts.

Things are a little different for Ryan Miller owners these days, as Miller got the hook early and went on an R-rated tirade after the game.  His play has been uneven since returning from a concussion in late November, and he's gone 3-7-0 over his last 10.  With trade rumors swirling, Miller seems distracted and agitated, and it seems like it's time for fantasy owners to bench the normally reliable netminder.  (Jan.17)
