Iginla Scores 500th

Standard Spin: Jarome Iginla may not be on pace to reach the lofty totals he achieved last year, but he is on pace for another 30+ goal and 60+ point season. And, if he were to amp it up a bit, the 70 point plateau isn't out of reach. Saturday night might be the motivating factor: Iginla became the 42nd player in NHL history to score his 500th career goal, and only the 15th to score all 500 with one team. His goal served as the GWG and he now has 16 tallies and 33 points on the year. Of note: Curtis Glencross continued his current goal-happy ways, scoring his 17th on the PP. (Jan.8)
