THURS Injury Update: Theodore, Callahan, Garrison, Boyle

(4/26/12) It's the final day of the first round, so let's get up to date on the latest injuries going into a night with two seventh and deciding games on the schedule.

In the Panthers-Devils matchup, we can confirm that Jose Theodore will get the start for the Cats.  Theodore missed Game 6 with an undisclosed injury, but he was on the ice for the morning skate and showed no signs of being slowed.  As well, the Panthers might have Jason Garrison and Keaton Ellerby available.  Both players missed last game and are officially considered a game-time decision, but they each skated this morning, so we have to think they'll probably go.

In the Rangers-Senators tilt, as expected New York will have their captain, Ryan Callahan, in the lineup.  Callahan took a maintenance day Wednesday, but it's just a finger injury and he's certain to be out there tonight.  However, teammate Brian Boyle remains out with a concussion.  Boyle was not on the ice for the morning skate, and he won't be available for Game 7.

For the Sens, Zenon Konopka (back) and Matt Carkner (undisclosed) missed practice yesterday with minor ailments, but both players are fine for tonight.

That's all, just a quickie today.  Enjoy the action tonight!
