Jagr Believes He Can Return Sooner

Standard Spin: On Wednesday Jaromir Jagr was reported to be out 7-10 days with a groin injury, but Jagr says he might be able to return sooner.  Apparently the injury is not as bad as when it cost him 4 games earlier in the season, and he was able to skate with minimal pain on Thursday - he skated by himself and did not practice.  Based on the news, we'll upgrade Jagr from doubtful to questionable for Saturday's game in Ottawa, but Tuesday's game against Minnesota still seems like the most reasonable target for a return.  (Jan.5)
