Standard Spin: According to the Detroit Free Press, Red Wings netminder Jimmy Howard is targeting a return for Sunday's game against the Sharks.  Howard broke his index finger on his blocker hand Feb. 2 and missed the last five games.  In spite of the time off, he still leads the NHL with 32-wins and should be inserted back into fantasy lineups for next week.

In his absence, Joey MacDonald has performed evenly enough, going 3-1-1 since being called on.  He'll backstop the Wings against the Stars Tuesday as Detroit tries to break an NHL record with their twenty-first straight home win.  (2/14/12)
