Monday Injury Update

(2/27/12) There's no official declaration, but we can now safely say Jonathan Toews is dealing with a concussion.  He's now missed five straight games, and it looks like we can scratch him for a sixth.  For Toews owners, we really can't tell you anything positive.  Toews is out indefinitely and, as with any concussion, there's no time-table for a return.  All you can do is accept the news and bench him until further notice.

As well, Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk is dealing with a concussion of his own.  He left Saturday's game after a devastating hit from Chris Neil of the Senators.  Boychuk sat out practice on Monday due to headaches, and the news comes as no surprise if you saw the KO...

For Colorado, Milan Hejduk is questionable for Monday against the Ducks.  He's dealing with a minor groin strain that caused him to miss the Avs' last game on Saturday.  And Peter Mueller is probable to return after missing six games with a torso injury.

Mikko Koivu also remains questionable for Minnesota.  He's missed five games for the Wild with a an undisclosed injury, and fantasy owners should plan to be without him again Tuesday.

And the official line is that Habs forward Mathieu Darche has the flu, but there are rumblings it might be a concussion.  He sat out a second straight game on Sunday and is questionable for Tuesday.
