Rinne, Halak Post Shutouts

Standard Spin: The hottest goaltender in fantasy hockey right now is the Blues' Jaroslav Halak.  Halak earned his 3rd shutout in his last 4 starts with a 1-0 win over the Oilers Thursday, and he's now gone 148 minutes without allowing a puck to get past him, has blanked his opponents in back-to-back games, and hasn't lost in regulation in 13 straight starts.  He's still sharing duties in a 1A/1B situation with Brian Elliott, but they're both playing so well they the each deserve a spot on fantasy rosters.

Nashville's Pekka Rinne was also unbeatable Thursday, making 38 saves in a 3-0 shutout of the Blue Jackets.  The win gives him 25 on the year and moves him into a tie for second in the category - he trails only Detroit's Jimmy Howard.  (Jan.20)
