Samuelsson with a Pair

Standard Spin: We have chronicled developments with the Panthers ever since they started the season hot due to the play of Versteeg, Fleischmann and Weiss.  It's been an on-going saga with ups and now downs, thanks to the arrival of Mikael Samuelsson back in December.  Although Samuelsson hasn't been an offensive juggernaut himself (4G, 6A in 15 games in FLA) he has diluted the Panthers' reliance on their top line, and the dynamic trio's production has dipped.

Wednesday, Samuelsson had his best game of the year, scoring twice.  Yet Weiss also scored, Fleischmann had 2 assists, but Versteeg was not in the game due to the flu.  The gold mine in the swamp is very tough to count on, and fantasy GMs are probably seeing their team's chances flash like specks of gold in a pan, or is that fool's gold?
