Standard Spin: Ilya Kovalchuk scored on a penalty shot and set up both of the other two Devils' goals on Saturday in a 3-1 win over rival Pittsburgh.  Kovalchuk now has 30 points in 32 games on the year and has 5 points in his last 4 games. It looks like all systems are a go in NJ after his "down year" in 2010-11.  It is likely Kovalchuk will surpass the point-per-game mark by year's end. (Jan.1)
